The terms for using Form Options Sync, in plain language.
By installing or using the add-on you agree to these terms. Please read section 8: it explains the one thing the add-on cannot guarantee.

Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms are an agreement between you and TELCOMA Technologies Private Limited, trading as TELCOMA Global ("we", "us"). They cover the Google Forms add-on Form Options Sync: Dynamic Choices & Seat Limits ("the add-on"), its free and paid plans, and our support. If you use the add-on for a school, company or other organisation, you agree to these terms for that organisation and confirm you may do so. Your use of Google Forms, Google Sheets and your Google account is also covered by Google's own terms.

Your licence to use the add-on
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the add-on with your Google account, for your own forms and your organisation's forms, on the plan you are on. You may not copy, resell, rent, or rebuild the add-on, or try to get around its plan limits or licence check. We keep all rights in the add-on that these terms do not give you.

Plans
- Free: 1 synced question in 1 form, with all features. Free of charge.
- Pro: unlimited synced questions and forms. US$4 per month or US$36 per year.
- Domain licence: Pro for the people in one Google Workspace domain, US$199 per year. Contact us to arrange it.
Prices are shown on the product page and in the add-on's sidebar. Prices exclude any tax the merchant of record adds for your country. We may change prices for future billing periods. If we do, we will tell paying customers by email at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.

A Pro licence belongs to one Google account
Pro is matched to the email address of the Google account that uses the add-on. It cannot be shared between accounts. If you need it moved to a different Google account, email us. Other editors of your form use their own plan. If Pro ends, the add-on keeps working on the free plan: only the oldest synced question in the form that holds your free plan keeps syncing, and your other settings stay in place.

Billing
When paid checkout is available, Pro is sold through a merchant of record, such as Lemon Squeezy or Paddle. The merchant of record is the seller on your receipt. It takes your payment, charges tax where required and issues the invoice, under its own terms of sale. You must buy Pro for the same email address as the Google account you use with the add-on, or the licence will not match.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. If a renewal payment fails, Pro continues for a short grace period and then ends.
Pro checkout is opening soon. Until it opens, upgrades are arranged by email with support@telcomaglobal.com, and we will confirm the price and how to pay before anything is charged.

Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, through the link in your receipt email from the merchant of record, or by emailing support@telcomaglobal.com. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, and then the account moves to the free plan. Uninstalling the add-on does not cancel a subscription, because billing is not done through Google; cancel it as described here.

Refunds
If you are not happy with your first Pro purchase, email us within 14 days of paying and we will refund it in full. Renewals, and purchases after the first, are not refunded, but you can cancel so the next renewal is not charged. This does not affect any right to a refund you have under the law of your country. Refunds are paid by the merchant of record to the payment method you used.

What the add-on cannot guarantee: the last seat
Google Forms cannot hold a seat while someone fills in the form. The add-on counts a response after Google has saved it, and then updates the form, usually within seconds. Two people who submit at the same moment, or in the seconds before the form is updated, can both get the last seat. The add-on detects this, marks the option as overbooked and emails you, but it cannot prevent it. You are responsible for contacting the extra respondents.
If an exact limit matters, for example for safety or legal reasons, do not rely on the add-on alone to enforce it.

Your forms and your data
- Your forms, responses and spreadsheets are yours. The add-on works on them inside your Google account, as the privacy policy describes. We claim no rights in them.
- You are responsible for what your forms collect, for having the right to collect it, and for telling respondents what the law requires.
- You are responsible for the spreadsheets you link and for checking that the options and seat numbers are right. The add-on shows what it will write when you click Preview.
- The add-on changes the options of the questions you choose to sync. Keep a copy of anything you cannot recreate. When you remove a sync, the add-on can put the plain options back.

Acceptable use
You must not use the add-on:
- to break the law, or to collect data you have no right to collect;
- to send spam or to harass anyone;
- to attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer the add-on or our licence server;
- in breach of Google's terms or policies for Google Workspace.

Google services and their limits
The add-on depends on Google Forms, Google Sheets, Google Apps Script and Gmail, which we do not control. Google sets limits the add-on has to live within, such as 20 automatic triggers per account and a daily number of emails. When a Google service is down or a limit is reached, the add-on may not sync until it recovers. We will try to show a clear message when this happens.

Changes to the add-on, suspension and ending
We improve the add-on over time and may change or remove features. We will try not to make changes that take away what a paid plan includes during a period you have paid for. We may suspend or end your use of the add-on if you seriously break these terms, and will tell you why by email where we can. You can stop using the add-on at any time by removing your syncs and uninstalling it.

No warranty
The add-on is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we give no warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, including that the add-on is fit for a particular purpose, will always be available, or is free of errors. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer that the law says cannot be removed.

Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill or the cost of replacement services, arising from the add-on or these terms. Our total liability for all claims about the add-on is limited to the fees you paid us for it in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and email paying customers about any change that affects them. If you keep using the add-on after a change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the add-on and cancel any subscription.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ludhiana, Punjab, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or the add-on. Before going to court, please email us: most problems are solved by a reply.
